Chief Executive – New South Wales Water Polo

Salary: $ Reserved. Salary plus Superannuation

Location: Sports House 6A Figtree Drive, Sydney Olympic Park

Information: NSW Water Polo is seeking a full time Chief Executive to manage the State Office and to assist the Board achieve the organisations strategic goals.

The Chief Executive will be required to demonstrate experience in the following areas;

·         Strategic Planning and Management

·         Financial Management

·         Knowledge of MYOB to bring to Balance Sheet

·         Ability in securing and maintaining sponsors, and liaising with State and Local Government bodies

·         Strong communication using various methods with a wide range of stakeholders, covering volunteers, club committees, members and staff

·         Relevant tertiary qualifications desirable

Role of the position: The work performed has three main focus areas;

·         Providing leadership and coordination in the administration and best practice management for the sport of Water Polo in NSW

·         Supervising staff to ensure the delivery of key objectives in the Board’s Strategic Plan; and

·         Providing support to the Board and all stakeholders
