Coach Accreditation & Updating
Update Accreditation Forms are to be completed by all coaches who have let there accreditation lapse for less that 1 year. It is to be used in conjunction with the NCAS Coach Accreditation Update Activities Document 2009. This document will help the coach determine what they have achieved during the last four years and how many points they have accumulated.
The Re-Accreditation Process
Coaches are accredited for a four year period. During the four year accreditation period, coaches must undertake updating activities in order to re-accredit and remain current. Accreditation has been put in place to ensure that coaches keep their skills and knowledge current. This is accomplished by completing practical and personal tasks over a four year period to accumulate the following number of points.
Coach Qualification | Points Required Over 4 Year Period |
AWPI Community Coach/Flippa Ball™ | 20 |
NCAS Club Coach (Old Level 1) | 25 |
NCAS Senior Club Coach (Old Level 2) | 40 |
NCAS High Performance Coach | 50 |
