NCAS Accreditation Scheme
The National Coaching and Accreditation Scheme (NCAS) is a progressive coach education program. The following accreditation structure is in place.
Community Coach/Flippa Ball™
Modified version of water polo for introduction to children and primary schools targeted at 8-11 years old.
NCAS Club Coach (Old NCAS Level 1)
NCAS accredited competency based entry level coaching qualification. Pre-requisites include: completion of the ASC Online Beginner Coaching Principles Course and Play by the Rules Online Course.
NCAS Senior Club Coach (Old NCAS Level 2)
Accredited competency based advanced level coaching qualification. Includes both tactical and technical components. Pre-requisites include completion of the ASC's Intermediate Coaching Principles and completion of the Club Coach Certificate with two years practical coaching experience.
High Performance Coach
NCAS accredited competency based elite level coaching qualification. Includes tactical and sports science components. Completion of the ASCA NCAS Level 1 Strength & Conditioning Course, ASC's Advanced General Principles, and satisfactory completion of the Senior Club Coaching Certificate and relevant coaching experience as a Senior Club Coach level are pre-requisites.
