What made you choose this sport: My older sister started playing so I just followed. I swam a lot when I was little so it made sense at the time. I remember someone telling me I wouldn’t make it as an Olympic swimmer. They were right!!
Who is the most influential person in your sporting career and why: Too many to mention but the main ones are my family for the never ending support and advice even when times are tough. Simone Hankin my coach for the past few years, what can I say she is the greatest, her knowledge friendship and support mean a lot to me, and finally John and Christine Green, family friends who have been through so much but who remain positive and always put others in front of themselves. They have taught me some very important lessons and I am a better person for knowing them.
