What made you choose this sport: I was a swimmer during high school, but grew tired of following the back line for hours on end. A friend from school introduced me to water polo, just to make up numbers for a club team and I have been playing ever since
Who is the most influential person in your sporting career and why: My family, mother especially – they make it possible for me to achieve what I have achieved, supporting my endeavours without reward. They essentially are the backbone to my sporting career, without their support my sporting career would not have been nurtured as it has.
