Belgrade, Serbia (August 29).— Last night we played Serbia again before they headed off to Croatia to compete in an extremely strong tournament with 6 other European countries and 1 middle east country.

Manager David Swift reports from Serbia:

it's pleasing to see that the boy's were upset that they are not competing in this tournament as they feel their training camps with Hungary and Serbia have been positive and they would have loved a crack at them and the rest of Europe's best.

The game was played over 2 longer quarters due to the Serb's having to depart for Croatia, so they wanted a lighter session

Game score 8/10
Goal Scorers: R O'Brien 2, C Dyson 2, A Roach 1, D Lawrence 1, M Emery 1, J Davis 1
Exclusions 4/2
Exclusions Earned: R O'Brien 2, A Roach 1, L Hollis 1

This morning's training session was with ourselves and we concentrated on centre forwards getting into position to allow set attacks to be completed. We also had a shooting session to see if some of our key shooters could hone their skills. This also allowed our goalies to focus in not letting in short-corner goals

The boys seem to be improving with every session and we look forward to our tournament in Novaky to establish if the team can put the game plan into action under pressure situations.

The afternoon was made up of the boys visiting some Serbian heritage locations, however this broke down quickly when the shops were discovered in the main street, (I'm glad I'm not financing some of them)

We head off to one of Hubbo's favourite holiday spots tomorrow and I'm not sure of the internet connection but I'll attempt to get the results.
