NWPL Launches Tipping Competition Print E-mail
nwpl_logo.jpg The National Water Polo League launches its Tipping Competition for the 2008 season. With tipping for both the Men's and Women's competitions, there's $500 prize money for the most successful tipster in each competition.

Simply log onto the Tipping Competition, register, submit your tips and enjoy the games. Don't forget to click on "emails" to register to receive reminders and results.

Tipping

  • Tips must be submitted via the Internet. Tips cannot be accepted via email, phone or any other method under any circumstances.
  • Under no circumstances will late tips be accepted, ie: after a matches cut-off time has passed.
  • All match times and cut off times are in AEST (Australian Eastern Standard Time).
  • Tippers can alter tips as many times and as often as they wish prior to the match cut-off time.

Scoring System

  • Tippers will be allocated one point for the correct selection of a win.

Standings

  • Tipsters will be ranked by their score
  • Weekly winners will be determined by the tipsters score for the round.

Missed Tips and Late Starters

  • Tipsters that do not enter tips for an entire round will be allocated default tips (away teams), to a maximum of 60% of total points for the round.
  • If tipsters join after the season has commenced, they will be allocated default tips (away teams) for each round missed.
