Challenge Stadium completes $2.5m upgrade Print E-mail
Perth (January 10).— In readiness for the XII FINA World Masters Championships 2008, Challenge Stadium has just completed a $2.5 million dollar upgrade of its facilities.

This will ensure that the stadium continues to be one of the finest competition venues in the world.

The improvements include upgrades to indoor pool decks, and pools, new skins from Myrtha Pools in both of the outdoor swimming pools and installation of a boom in the outdoor 10 lane pool  allowing the pool to be set to 25m mode when necessary.

So far all of the pool users who have trained in the venue have been delighted with the improvements.

The FINA World Masters will be staged on April 17-25 with a huge contingent of water polo teams expected.
