ADDENDUM

The Australian Olympic Committee has continued to provide very significant support to our teams, athletes and coaches. A total of $357,995 was received from the Australian Olympic Committee for the period under review.

Our teams were supported by way of the Australian Olympic Committee’s International Competition Grant of $108,000 during 2006 – 2007.  The athletes and coach of the National Women’s Team were recipients of $183,750 under the adidas Medal Incentive Scheme whilst the athletes and coach of the National Men’s Team were recipients of $66,245 under this program.

In addition to the above the Australian Olympic Committee has been very generous in the resourcing of our teams for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games for which we are extremely grateful.

It is with considerable regret that the above acknowledgement was omitted from the Annual Report 2006 – 07 and I personally apologize for this significant oversight.
