Sydney sports fans will have the chance to see the top five women's water polo nations in action this week as they fine tune their preparations ahead of the World Championships which begin on March 19. Currently ranked number one in the world, the Australian women's water polo team will compete against their biggest rivals Greece, USA, Italy and Spain at Sydney Olympic Park Aquatic Centre from Friday 9 March to Monday 12 March.

Sydney gets a taste of World Champs action as Aussie girls spearhead warm-up tournament

With tickets starting from just $4.00, this is an excellent opportunity for Sydney fans to see the world's best in action in the pool.
The Aussie girls will be hoping to consolidate their number one ranking with a solid performance as they look to lay the foundations for a world title win at the World Championships in Melbourne in March.
The four day water polo tournament will also see the Australian Junior men's team take on more senior opponents Croatia, Germany, South Africa and Romania who will also be warming up for their World Championship title assault.

Perth gets a taste of World Champs action as Aussie men take on Spain and Greece

Perth sports fans will have the chance to see some of the top water polo nations in action this week as Australia, Spain and Greece fine tune their preparations ahead of the World Championships which begin on Saturday 17th March.
The Australian men's water polo team will compete against European Champion Bronze Medallists Spain on Saturday 10th March (7pm) and will face World Champion Bronze Medallists Greece on Sunday 11th March (5pm).
Both matches will be played at Perth's Challenge Stadium.
With tickets starting from just $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children, this is an excellent opportunity for Perth fans to see some of the best talent in international water polo.
