For more information on drugs in sport, visit the Australian Sports Anti-Doping Authority at www.asada.gov.au Important changes to the WADA Anti Doping Code - effective 1 Jan 2009.From 1 January 2009 significant changes have been made to the process we have previously used for notifying asthma medications and cortisone injections into joints/tendons. There will no longer be a process called aTUEs (Abbreviated Therapeutic Use Exemptions) which were mainly used for asthma medications. For more information on these changes please read through the Changes to the WADA Anti Doping Code 2009.
