DAY 3

In the 50+ age group Gold Coast snatched victory from Parramatta Eels with 1 second left on the game clock to qualify to play the undefeated Guam Masters with a score of 9 - 8. Gold Coast shut down the Eels free flowing game to grab a chance for gold having finished third after the preliminary rounds.

In the other age groups, Rivercity won gold in the 35+ group, the 40+ final looks a cliff hanger between Guam and Gold Coast Chargers after a one goal win (13-12) by Guam in the preliminary rounds, the Barracudas look too strong for Manly in the 45+ section.
