Bring on Beijing after World League silver medal

Montreal, Canada (July 8).— Australia is poised to challenge for the Olympic women’s water polo crown after adding another medal to its illustrious trophy cabinet here tonight. The new-look team collected the silver medal after losing the FINA World League final to reigning, and now three-time, champion United States of America 8-4 at Parc Jean Drapeau.

Sydney 26 June 2007 - Australian Water Polo Inc is pleased to announce the Junior Women's team for the forthcoming FINA Junior Women's World Championships to be held in Portugal, 23 - 29 July. Prior to that event the team will take part in the Pythia Cup in Itea, Greece. We wish the team all the best.
