Australian Water Polo Inc (AWPI) has taken out a Sports Injury cover across all of its members whilst they are participating in training and competition. The cover also extends to include officials, coaches administrators and volunteers whilst performing activities on behalf of Australian Water Polo or any of its registered clubs or associations. The benefits of this cover are detailed below.

Weekly Accident Benefit

85% of average gross weekly Salary to a maximum of $500

Domestic Help

$500 per week for 26 weeks (non-income earners)

Student Tutorial Benefits

$500 per week for 26 weeks (non-income earners)

Deferral Period

7 Days

Parents Inconvenience Allowance

$25 per day up to a maximum of 100 days – 24 hour excess

Non-Medicare Medical Expenses

$3,000 - $50 excess

Funeral Benefit

$5,000

Benefit Period

52 Weeks (Up to and including 65 years of age)

 

26 Weeks (66 years – 75 years)

Pre-existing Condition:

There is no cover for Pre-existing Conditions (as defined)

Age Limits:

Persons up to the age of 75 years.
